Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has stated that Kyle Walker will only leave the Premier League club if the right conditions are met.
Walker recently informed Guardiola that he wants to leave the Etihad to play abroad. While Guardiola is open to the idea of the player departing, he emphasized that any move would depend on the market and an agreement between all parties involved.
Guardiola said:
“He wants to go… now it depends on the market and the agreement between all parties. He’s a top-class player!”
Walker is reportedly a target for AC Milan, with talks ongoing regarding a potential move during the January transfer window.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Serie A club is in negotiations to sign the 34-year-old.
Two years ago, Walker attracted interest from Bayern Munich under then-manager Thomas Tuchel, but he ultimately decided to stay at City after discussions with Guardiola.
