At least five teams have advanced to the quarter-finals of this season’s Copa del Rey.
Barcelona secured their spot with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Real Betis on Wednesday night. Lamine Yamal stood out, scoring once and providing two assists as Hansi Flick’s side dominated.
Before Barcelona’s triumph, four other teams had already confirmed their places: Valencia, Getafe, Leganés, and Atlético Madrid.
The remaining three quarter-finalists will be determined in Thursday’s fixtures, featuring Athletic Club vs. Osasuna, Real Sociedad vs. Rayo Vallecano, and Real Madrid vs. Celta Vigo.
The draw for the quarter-finals will take place on Monday, January 20, with matches to be played as single-leg ties on February 4, 5, and 6. Home advantage will be decided randomly.
