Serie A champions Napoli are reportedly offering Manchester United a reduced fee for Victor Osimhen, provided the Red Devils include young forward Alejandro Garnacho in a swap deal.
Garnacho, 20, has been strongly linked with a move to Napoli as part of Manchester United’s strategy to restructure and offload players. According to reports from Il Mattino and Sky Sports Italia, the Argentine forward has already agreed to personal terms with the Naples-based club.
New details suggest that Napoli are willing to lower their asking price for Osimhen, in exchange for Garnacho’s inclusion in the deal. Osimhen, who scored 31 goals in all competitions during the 2022-23 season and played a key role in Napoli’s first Serie A title in over 30 years, has attracted interest from several top European clubs.
Initially valued at €150 million, Osimhen is among the most expensive players in the market. However, Football Italia reports that there is still a significant gap between Napoli’s proposed offer of €50 million and Manchester United’s €80 million asking price.
To facilitate the deal, Napoli are open to reducing Osimhen’s price if Garnacho is included. Should the move go through, Manchester United would boost their attacking options, while Napoli would gain a promising young talent in Garnacho, who has the potential to become a world-class winger.
