Reigning Saudi Pro League champions Al Hilal are reportedly preparing an eye-watering €275m (£235m) package to sign Barcelona star Raphinha this summer, according to reports from Spain.
The Brazilian winger has been in sensational form this season, breaking numerous records and registering an impressive 30 goals and 23 assists in 49 games. His contributions have been both plentiful and impactful, with Raphinha scoring a dramatic 98th-minute winner against Celta Vigo last week, putting Barcelona in a strong position to secure the La Liga title.

Such outstanding performances have attracted attention from several Premier League giants, but now Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal are ready to make a serious move for the 28-year-old.
Having already been rebuffed in their pursuit of Mohamed Salah, Al Hilal are reportedly focusing their efforts on Raphinha, with sources saying the club plans to offer Barcelona €100m (£85.7m) for the player. However, it’s the salary package that could make the move irresistible.
Raphinha is said to be in line for a five-year deal worth €44m (£37m) per season, a sum that would see him significantly out-earn his current Barcelona wage, which is considered relatively modest given his impact. This contract would place the Brazilian among the highest-paid players globally.
Despite his rise to Ballon d’Or contention this year, Raphinha had seriously considered leaving Barcelona last summer, with interest from Saudi Pro League clubs already in the picture. Now, he will likely cost far more than he would have last year.
