Cristiano Ronaldo, the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star, has reached yet another incredible milestone in football.
The 39-year-old Portugal international is now the first and only player in history to achieve 700 official club victories. He reached this landmark following Al-Nassr’s 2-1 victory over Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday.
Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 35th minute, receiving a pass from Marcelo Brozovic, and later helped Nawaf Al-Boushail make it 2-0 with an assist in the 47th minute. Al-Raed’s Amir Sayoud scored their only goal in the 76th minute, resulting in a final score of 2-1.
With this win, Ronaldo has now won 700 club-level matches in his career, making him the first player ever to achieve such a feat, according to Marca.
Ronaldo began his professional career at Sporting CP, where he recorded 13 victories. After joining Manchester United in 2003, he won a total of 215 matches across two stints, from 2003-2009 and 2021-2022. He moved to Real Madrid in 2009, where he won 316 matches before leaving in 2018. At Juventus, Ronaldo won 91 matches between 2018 and 2021. Since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023, he has secured 66 wins.
