Chelsea have reportedly made a shock enquiry about Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, whose future at Old Trafford has grown increasingly uncertain.
The 20-year-old Argentine has seemingly fallen out of favor under new manager Ruben Amorim. According to The Athletic, Chelsea have initiated early discussions as they consider a potential move for Garnacho this month.
Amorim, however, remains keen on retaining Garnacho and recently commended the young winger for adapting to his tactical system.
Despite Amorim’s stance, Manchester United’s financial struggles have left most of the squad vulnerable to potential sales. If the right valuation is met, Garnacho could be on his way out in the coming weeks.
Reports suggest United recently rejected a £40 million bid from Napoli for Garnacho, with other European clubs also monitoring the situation closely.
