The Belgian, whose contract expires this summer, joined City in 2015 from Wolfsburg for £54.5 million.
Throughout his time at the Etihad, the 33-year-old secured six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, and a Champions League trophy.
De Bruyne was also a key member of Pep Guardiola’s treble-winning team in the 2020/21 season.
Despite receiving significant interest from Saudi Arabian clubs last summer, he opted to stay in England.
