Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Santo attributed his team’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United to hard work, belief, and mutual support during their Premier League clash on Tuesday.
Santo also gave special praise to Anthony Elanga, whose stunning solo goal sealed the win for Forest. Elanga sprinted 85 meters in just nine seconds to score, securing the three points for Forest at the City Ground.
“He’s a special boy, and he brings his speed to this team,” Santo said in his post-match interview. “He did it all by himself, and we’re delighted.”
Santo further explained, “The game was slipping away from us, and we had to endure. It was hard work, belief, helping each other, and even clearing off the line. It was a tough game.”
The victory sees Nottingham Forest rise to third place in the Premier League, with 57 points from 30 matches.
