Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has cast further uncertainty over his future at the club, revealing that contract renewal talks remain stalled.
The 32-year-old, whose current deal expires this summer, said negotiations with Liverpool have yet to yield any progress. He is one of several key players, including Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk, nearing the end of their contracts at Anfield.
With no agreement in place, Salah is now eligible to negotiate a pre-contract with foreign clubs. Speaking to Sky Sports, the Egyptian star stated, “There is nothing, no progress there. We are far away from any progress, so we just need to wait and see.”

He further acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding his future, describing this as his “last year” and “last six months” until a resolution is reached.
