Barcelona manager Hansi Flick blocked defender Eric Garcia from leaving the club during the last transfer window.
This revelation came from football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who shared the information in a tweet on Thursday.

“Eric García had an offer from another club, but I told him that I needed him,” Flick was quoted by Romano.
Garcia had received a proposal from Serie A club Como, with a nearly finalized €7 million transfer, including travel and medical arrangements. However, Flick intervened, insisting that Garcia remain at Barcelona.
This comes after Barcelona’s victory over Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-final on Wednesday.
