Mukaila Senwele, an Ilorin-born musician from Lagos who is well-known for his catchphrase “Koni Da Fun Ebo To Se Costay,” has died.
The artist passed away on Friday night, according to a family source who spoke to ROYAL NEWS.
Senwele, a native of Kwara State’s Ilorin West Local Government Area, was well-known for his outstanding performances and distinctive style of entertainment, which won him over many socialites.
A family member disclosed that Mukaila had shown no signs of illness before his death, ROYAL NEWS, reports.
“There was no indication of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening,” the source shared.
According to reports the family received an emergency call about his passing from where he had been lodging with fans.
“Upon arrival, my elder brother (name withheld) and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the source added.
He will be buried on Saturday morning
Veteran actress Toyin Adegbola took to her social media page to also mourn him with the caption “I can’t believe you are no more Mukaila Senwele ! Ile aye ile asan.
