Popular Yoruba Actor Emmanuel Austine, has detailed some of the incidents involving his friendship with actor Ibrahim Yekini, better known by his stage as Itele, and how Itele stopped casting him in his films.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Debbie Show TV during an interview, he made it known that he did not snatch Itele’s wife, saying that the actor thought he was dead.
In his statement, he said, “I never snatched Itele’s wife, I didn’t kill his child, but I believe he thought I was dead. It’s been long since he saw me, and he did not bother to look for me. His actions towards me show that he wants me to know that he is having issues with me. If I die today, I’m sure Itele will post about me, but he never celebrates me on my birthday, and when I celebrated him on his birthday on social media, he didn’t even acknowledge it.”
In another post Morayo Afolabi Brown has slammed legendary singer 2face, otherwise known as 2baba, over his divorce announcement from his wife of over a decade, Annie Idibia.
In an episode on TVC popular show, Your View, which she co-hosts, Morayo says she doesn’t think 2baba should go scot-free over the damage he did to Annie Idibia. She believed that the singer led Annie on maybe due to societal pressure. Morayo noted how the society was there when 2face got married to Annie, hence, why he needs to explain himself to them.
She questioned at what point he knew he was no longer interested in Annie and deserted her and what audacity he had to say he had fallen out of love with her.
“I don’t think 2baba should go scot-free for what he has done and how he has damaged this young woman. I feel that he has led her on. Maybe it was societal pressure that caused him to stay with this young woman. He needs to tell us because the society was there when they were getting married. At what point did you say you are no longer with Annie, and at what point did you feel you could desert Annie? What audacity do you have to say you have fallen out of love with her?”.
