Beautiful Yoruba Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa has spoken candidly about her choice to conceal her child’s father’s identity, saying she would rather keep her private life out of the public eye.
The veteran Yoruba actress made this revelation during an interview on the Oyinmomo Official YouTube channel, where she discussed various aspects of her life, including motherhood, privacy, and the challenges of being a public figure.
According to Amusa, while she is in the entertainment industry and has many friends in the public space, she does not believe in sharing details of her private life online.
She explained that her husband is also comfortable with this decision, and together, they have agreed to keep their relationship away from social media.
The actress highlighted that she has learned to protect her loved ones, including her family members, from unnecessary attention and online attacks.
She pointed out that in today’s digital age, people often dig into celebrities’ personal lives, and when they cannot target the individual directly, they go after their family members.
In her words; “My husband is fine with me not showing his face to the public. I’m also fine with it because I want to maintain my privacy. A lot of people know me in the industry. Despite having many friends, I’m not the type to bring my private life online or post about the person I’m dating on social media. Even my close relatives, who are family, you can’t see me post them randomly on social media except on their birthdays. I do this because some people, when they can’t get at you on social media, start attacking your mother, siblings, or other family members. I don’t joke with my family.”
