Baba Tee fumes as he replies Ijoba Lande in new video (Watch)
Babatunde Bernard Tayo, better known as Baba Tee, is a Nigerian movie actor, comedian, and MC who has finally responded to claims of having sex with his colleague Ijoba Lande’s wife.
In a video, Baba Tee denied having an amorous relationship with Lande’s wife, as many claimed, and challenged Lande to produce proof that he had slept with the latter’s wife.
Gossipinfo reported that skit maker and actor Ijoba Lande born Ganiyu Kehinde in February took to his Instagram live session to reveal he and his wife, Dara have gone their separate ways.
Lande expressed frustration that his wife could pack out of their matrimonial home because he was demonetized on Facebook and YouTube which used to earn him about N6 million collectively, in a month.
Following his disclosure, in a separate video via his Instagram page, Ijoba Lande called out his colleague, Baba Tee for blocking him on Instagram. He said he regretted ever respecting him and warned Baba Tee not to ever share anything that has to do with motivational speaking.
Further fueling the infidelity allegations, Lande granted an interview where he accused his estranged wife of being a cheat who has had sex with about 21 actors. He further claimed he had solid evidence —videos and pictures of his wife to back the claims.
Reacting to the saga that has played out for weeks, Baba Tee took to social media to claim his innocence, stating that he was never close with Ijoba Lande’s wife but he got to know her through a mutual friend.
He added that he didn’t even know she was married until much later.
Baba Tee who dared Lande to provide evidence that he had sex with Dara, claimed that he only ever met the skit maker once. This is contrary to claims Lande made, that he respects and usually prostrates for Baba Tee anytime they meet. Baba Tee said:
“I have never met Lande’s wife all my life until mid last year when Marygold brought her to my house. She introduced her to me as a Skitmaker and upcoming artiste.
It was later I overheard them saying ‘it’s like Baba Tee knows’ and I asked, ‘what do I know?’ It took a while before Marygold finally confessed to me that Dara was Lande’s wife.
Later on I saw Lande calling me out and saying he used to prostrate and respect me in the industry. I have only seen Lande once in my life. Now I am challenging Lande to present the evidence to the world that I slept with his wife.”
