Liverpool took another step closer to matching a record 20th English league title with a Merseyside derby win over Everton on Wednesday night.
Everton striker Beto had a goal disallowed for offside during a lively first half, before hitting the post after a one-on-one with Caoimhin Kelleher. Toffees captain James Tarkowski also narrowly escaped a red card for a reckless challenge on Alexis Mac Allister.
