Manchester United have announced that star forward Amad Diallo has signed a new long-term contract, committing to the club until June 30, 2030.
The Ivory Coast international has flourished under the management of Ruben Amorim, excelling in both a wing-back role and as part of a front three. Amad showcased his form once again by scoring his sixth goal of the season in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
The 22-year-old’s previous deal was set to expire at the end of the season, though the club had the option to extend it by a year. Despite reported interest from two other clubs, Amad has reaffirmed his commitment to Old Trafford.
“I am really proud to have signed this new contract,” Amad said via the club’s official website. “I’ve had some incredible moments with this club already, but there’s so much more to come. My ambitions are huge, and I want to make history at Manchester United.
“I’ve learned so much since arriving here four years ago, and I’m very grateful to the coaches, staff, and fans for their support. While it’s been a challenging season for everyone, I believe we’re on the right path and the future looks special. I’m ready to give everything to help the team and make our supporters proud.”
United’s technical director Jason Wilcox also praised the young forward’s development, highlighting his importance to the club’s future.
“Everyone is delighted with Amad’s progress,” Wilcox said. “His quality on the ball, versatility, and determination make him a key part of Manchester United’s future.
“The best years of his career are still ahead, and we look forward to helping him reach his immense potential and achieve success with the club in the coming seasons.”
