Yoruba film actress Adewumi Fatai has spoken out about a distressing incident that happened when she was in the UK with fellow actress Bukky Fagbuyi.

In an interview posted on the official YouTube channel of Biola Adebayo Ent, Fatai recounted how her journey began when Bukky invited her to stay in her home.
“It was Bukky Fagbuyi who asked me to come and stay with her in the UK. Bukky is a very nice person, but I didn’t know she was saying something bad behind my back,” she explained.
This betrayal seemingly left a lasting impact, as Fatai claimed she was informed by others about Fagbuyi’s negative comments concerning her.

Fatai shared, “There was a day her child was playing with some money inside her room; I was the one who collected the money from her child and gave it to her when she came back, but she didn’t trust me when her gold jewellery was missing.”
This mistrust culminated in a public accusation that Fatai described as disgraceful.
She stated, “Bukky Fagbuyi disgraced me when she accused me of stealing her gold jewellery in the UK.”
