The movie star explained how she began writing the scripts for her films and how the concept for Jenifa’s brand came to her. She described how an industry insider encouraged her to continue using Jenifa’s reputation and provided funding for her projects.
Funke also discussed how to remain relevant in Nigeria’s content marketing sector and how audience behavior is changing.
At the June anniversary celebration for musician Dbanj, Funke shared how God spoke to her via him to maintain her well-known Jenifa brand. The award-winning actress disclosed that the artist had financially backed her to complete her next movie and had urged her to maintain the Jenifa brand.
Funke had talked about the difficult times she went through prior to becoming famous last year. As a testament to her belief in herself, she posted a video of herself working hard on the set of her highest-grossing, billion-dollar film, A Trībe Called Judah. She said that despite the hardships she faced, she learned to persevere and inspire people as a result.
