Arsenal remain one of the few major European clubs yet to win the Champions League, but that could change by the end of May.
The Gunners are aiming for their first-ever title in the competition and have made an impressive start in this year’s revamped campaign. Finishing third in the inaugural league phase after winning six of their eight matches, they secured a spot in the last 16.
Having avoided the dreaded two-legged play-off, Arsenal will enter the next round in March with fresh legs, looking to progress to the quarter-finals for the second consecutive season.
Here are the potential opponents Arsenal could face in the Champions League round of 16.

For Arsenal, the last 16 looks promising, as they will face one of the more manageable fixtures. While they don’t yet know their exact opponent, they are set to play Dutch rivals PSV Eindhoven or Feyenoord.
Both teams defied the odds in the play-off round, with PSV beating Juventus in extra time during their second-leg win and Feyenoord—possibly led by former Gunner Robin van Persie by the time the ties occur—defeating seven-time European champions AC Milan 2-1 on aggregate.
2022/23 finalists Inter Milan will face the Dutch side that Arsenal avoids in the upcoming draw.
