He edged out competition from Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who delivered an incredible seven goals and seven assists in December, breaking the Premier League record for most goal involvements in a single month. Isak is the fifth different Player of the Month winner in 2024, joining Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer, Chris Wood, and Salah.
On the managerial side, Nuno Espírito Santo was recognized after guiding Nottingham Forest to a league-high 15 points in December. Forest finished the year third in the table, behind Liverpool and Arsenal, after rebounding from a loss to Manchester City with five consecutive wins. Key victories included triumphs over Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur.
This marks Nuno’s second Manager of the Month award this season and the sixth of his Premier League career.
