Sergio Ramos was shown a red card in the final minutes of Monterrey’s 3-1 victory over Pumas UNAM on Sunday, marking his first sending-off since joining Liga MX.
Known for his aggressive style, Ramos was involved in several physical confrontations during the match. In the 92nd minute, with Monterrey leading 3-1, he fouled Guillermo Martínez and then kicked him as the ball went out of play.

This red card is the 30th of Ramos’ career. He was dismissed 26 times while at Real Madrid, twice during his time at Paris Saint-Germain, and once for Sevilla. Remarkably, he was never sent off while playing for Spain.
Since joining Monterrey last month, Ramos has scored three goals in four games.
