Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham talks about her touching experience with a Young man, a loyal fan who sent her a considerate present as a surprise.
The fan gave Toyin a banner advertising her most recent movie, Alakada Bad and Boujee, along with a monogrammed towel bearing the logo.
The gesture deeply moved Toyin, who posted a video of the encounter on her Instagram. In the clip, the visibly emotional actress thanked the fan for his creativity and effort while engaging in a heartfelt conversation.
During the exchange, Young Purpose admitted to being overwhelmed, saying, “I thought you’ve left.”
In response, Toyin reassured the fan, saying, “No, I have not left. You want to be my friend? Let me have your Instagram handle. What’s your Instagram handle so you can be chatting me. You are shaking, it’s okay. Don’t cry, I’m here with you.”
Toyin described the moment as one of the highlights of her career.
“Thank you all for coming out today. Thank you, Viva Jara mall. Today is one of the best moments in my career. Thank you, @youngpurpose685, for loving me genuinely. To everyone who has seen #Alakadabadandboujee, thank you so much, and please preach about Alakada Bad and Boujee to people who haven’t seen it,” she wrote while sharing the video.
The fan encounter comes amidst the success of Alakada Bad and Boujee, which debuted in December 2024 and has already grossed ₦350 million at the box office within 18 days.
