Vinicius Junior has addressed speculation surrounding his future at Real Madrid after a standout performance in the Champions League, where he reached a century of goals for the club.
The Brazilian winger was in sensational form during Madrid’s 5-1 victory over Salzburg on Wednesday, scoring two brilliant goals and earning the Player of the Match award for his electrifying display.
With 15 goals and nine assists so far this season, Vinicius continues to shine for Los Blancos, solidifying his place as one of the top forwards in world football. His brace against Salzburg brought his total to 101 goals for the club, adding another milestone to his remarkable journey.
However, with the January transfer window in full swing, there has been growing speculation about a potential move, with clubs in the Saudi Pro League reportedly keen on securing the 24-year-old’s signature.
Despite the lucrative offers from the Middle East, Vinicius reaffirmed his commitment to Real Madrid following the Champions League win.
“My future? Real Madrid!” he declared after the match. “101 goals with my dream club. I came here as a child, and being able to make history with this club makes me the happiest person in the world. Thanks to all my teammates for helping me reach this number. Hala Madrid!”
Despite his heroics, Vinicius was critical of his own performance, admitting, “I felt I didn’t have a good first half, especially with that yellow card which rules me out of the next game.”
